First of all, THANK YOU to my parents who sent me a check today to donate for the Race. I hadn't made fundraising a major goal this year, but it is greatly appreciated. As a personal note, I am very proud of my mom who made some hard choices when I was younger to protect herself from the disease that took her mother and sister. She is my inspiration as much as they are, and I'm glad I still get to hug her neck.
Secondly, my wife and 2 kids registered today to walk in the 1 mile version of the Race on Saturday. It will be great having them there. We made shirts for them also.
After my run tonight, I decided I'm not running any more between now and Race Day. I'm slightly paranoid about injuring myself and I don't want to be sore on Sunday. I'll still probably walk, maybe outside, to keep my stamina up a bit. 3 days and counting.
